Making A Lasting Contribution

26th,March,2011
Saturday
Dear Friends,
      Good Evening!
A pleasant and refreshing evening to one and  all..I am writing a post after ten days...Since two weeks..it was work...work  and work! When I am tired of my workload,I think of the unemployed ,the less fortunate those who wish they had my job.
But I must say,you were in my thoughts. Thanks a bunch to all my dearies who took time and remembered  to reach me on my Special Day by calls, mails, greetings and chat messages. It was a real special day! Those who know my liking for flowers showered flowers.....I am so touched.God Bless You!Magical things tend to happen in life at any unexpected time.I think,I don't thank you enough for your gifts as beautiful words and wonderful greetings.
Even when stressed with the workload,
The cute orange butterflies fluttering on the bushes
The new blooms opening in the garden,
The bees sparkling in the sunlight,
Accepting a warm smile from a friend,
Bring happiness to the moments of day to day life!
May you find happiness in small and simple things
We don't know which carry the seeds of blessings!
I am so happy I have good friends like you!
I am not losing myself in work because of you.
I learned only a sound sleep gives me
A better and refreshing new day!
Recharging is very much necessary
To be better persons in life.
Enthusiasm is so powerful and contageous.
We have to get motivated and excited
About something in our lives.
Once as akid you were the apple of everyone's eyes
We can be the same with some thoughtful acts!
So,finding a balance between life and work,
Let us make a lasting contribution!
The woods are lovely green and shady
Let me walk into the beautiful greens
Holding your hands so strong and caring,
Basking in the hope and security yo give.
In your company everything looks more fascinating
Feeling the deep, lasting and tender love.
''Heart beats are countless, spirits are ageless, dreams are endless, memories are timeless and a friend like you is Priceless''.
Hope you are fine.
Anu loves you dil se....
Wishing you a lovely and relaxing Sunday,
   It's Anu Signing off........

EMOTIONAL TURMOIL CAUSED BY AMEN..................

27th,October,2010
 Wednesday
Dear Friends,
A beautiful rainy morning!Since yesterday night it's raining! It's so lovely to feel the raindrops on my face while plucking the flowers. So fresh and cool! Before plucking the flowers I seek permission of each and every plant.Nanda taught me this.:)Thus I talk to the flowers  and share my thoughts in the wee hours of the morning.
The   vote counting  is going on and celebrations have already started. The sound of the crackers and the happy announcements in the loudspeaker make the  city noisy again.
I went to the city for shopping.I am lost without Nanda. She is still in New York. The auto driver was so enthusiastic and started giving a lecture on the pros and corns of the leading party.I had to just respond,'ha,hu,yes,oh!'At home,Amma updates about the lead of various parties.
Last time I saw COSMOS closed but did not know it had  changed the location.I was desperate to visit.Today I saw the notice on the wall and found out the new place.COSMOS is one of the must -visit places for the book lovers, in Thrissur. The new place is so  spacious  with neatly arranged books on shelves. It is situated opposite Indian Coffee House in North Busstand,Paliyum Road.I love and I love to spend most of my time with books.Anything and everything suits me.But I must have something to read. While walking, eating, lying down,I need someting to read.Reading and music excite me.With music in the background,I am all in high spirits.Music stimulates my mind. It gives me positive energy.Amma always tells us,blessed are they who can sing. And amma's subject for professional course was music. When I reach Thrissur I never miss the songs in Malayalam aired by Aakashavani. It's so nice to listen to the melodies.
Nanda and me studied in a reputed Girls' Convent High School and later in the college run by the same  management. We were always friendly with nuns.We used to kneel down in the church before attending classes.Again for my professional course I studied in an institute run by Christians. There is a beautiful chapel attcahed to the institute.I know about retreats. And now I work in astate which is popular for the beautiful churches.:)
Most of the teachers were nuns in our school.Amma's student and an ardent fan Rev.Sr.Modesta is our family friend. She never misses to greet us on  important days of celebrations.Even yesterday we talked to her.She is so pious, dedicated and a real good soul.
In the book shelf when I was browsing for the new arrivals,I saw this popular book-Amen-The Autobiography Of A Nun!The Author is Dr.Sister Jesme who left the Congregation Of Mother Of Carmelafter three decades of service. On 31st August.2008.Sr.Jesme left the Congregation. The authorities' repeated attempts to have her declared insane, she says left her no option. She was the Principal of St.Mary's college ,Thrissur, one of the best colleges of Kerala.I had read about her adventourous step of publishing such a book  last year.I admire her.And I am so happy to have the same book of my own now.Searing, sincere and sensitive ,Amen is a plea for a reformation of the Church and comes at a time of its growing concern about nuns and priests. But I never knew what was in store for me.
Sr.Jemi who is 52,lives alone in a flat in Calicut now.Her book alleges sexual abuse and homosexuality is very high in Catholic Church in Kerala. The Church tried to bribe her not to publish the book. One sister told she would sit in the chapel and recite rosaries so that all her books would be burnt away. But Sr.Jesmi finds a safe and strong Anchorage in Jesus.
Spirited and fun-loving,from agood family, deeply rooted in Catholicism,Jesme was drawn to religious life at seventeen after a Retreat at junior college. The best part I loved in this book is that moment-the moment Jesme realised she will be the bride of Jesus Christ-the divine call.
It's a beautiful experience.
The relation of Sr.Jesme and her Amma is very touching.
After reading Amen I don't feel comfortable;I can't accept the facts and faults.I am disturbed and confused. It is a brave and shocking account of life within the enclosure.
I don't want to mention the shocking experience Sr.Jesme had from a priest in Bangalore. It is disgusting and shocking.
From childhood Jesus is with us in our poojaroom.Only my parents can do such wonderful things. In an ancestoral tharavdu, noone can think of keeping the photo of JESUS along with Hindu Gods.We have Bible at home with Bhagavat Geetha. Our caretaker is a christian. My Ammamma built a house for his family near our tharavadu. He was allowed to build a house of his choice. There is a church in my village. The church bell tells us the time.We celebrate Christmas.Even now Amma has a rosary along with rudraksha mala  under her pillow.Rosary is a gift from Sr.Modesta.This is a special and cute rose rosary from Italy along with a pendenant of Pope.Sr.Modesta's nephew-Fr.Pius Chittilappilly has brought this sacred rosary. We are so grateful.Sister.We respect the holy rosary and it gives us mental strength. At my workplace my key chain has Jesus and Mary, again a gift from Sr.Modesta.When we go to meet her during Christmas,we go to the chapel and kneel down and pray.
I love the beautifully decorated altar.I love confessions. I like the way my catholic friends get purified after confessions.
As Sr.Jesme hopes and prays, let the fresh breeze enter the closed walls and purify the stinking corners.
Sr.Jesme writes about the corruption,by way of donations for college seats;sexual relations between some priests and nuns;class distinctions whereby the chedathies or poorer  and less -educated sisters, did menial jobs and awide gap between comforts and facilities enjoyed by the priests and nuns.
The book affirms Jesme's unbroken spirit and faith in Jesus and the Church ,living like a nun,but outside the Four Walls of the convent.
This is a first of its kind in INDIA.Those who are interested may read..........
AMEN-THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A NUN..........
My friend agreed to give me her phone number. What should I say?
I don't know.
                                                                                                           It's Anu signing off.....................

MY REFLECTIONS ON A HOLIDAY...................

A LOVELY HOLIDAY.................

One more holiday in this month of april, due to elections.i would like to share the beautiful morming sms received from my friend.

''friendship is like a mercury drop.........if it's dropped then it's impossible to collect.so,be careful.do not drop your friends.''but i have dropped many of them as they proved wrong for the title,'friends'.

we all know, smiles and laughter are good in many ways.smiling is apotent beauty treatmen, the simplest most easily recognised action-even a brief flash.so,friends, flash asmile, the world will be on your side.

the more we smile, the more we are known for our smile and more popular and likeable we will become.and it is abonus,we become happier inside.so,friends, sharpen your sense of humour.

on holidays, here we wake up to the konkani songs flowing through the speakers.the locals enjoy life with music, feni, beer and fish curry, rice.by the way,'feni' got 'GI' status;that's Geographical indication status.it's the hot news and all are thrilled.this is the first alcholic spirit to get the GI status.

now,no one need to smuggle out the liquor anymore.[i know,in many of the baggages, feni bottles were hidden on the way to their hometown].
the mood is upbeat and there is a sense of excitement and joy in the air.just within a walk of every five minutes one lands up in a bar here.

and i must say,an important feature is the crosses, the life of the people.we can often see, people stand together and say the rosary at the cross on the roadside.

here, neither exams elections nor the rising mercury levels are able to keep people away from dance floors. there are wide publicity for HIP HOP summer dance camps.

like in kerala,so many people have sold their old ancestoral homes here .the builders who buy them demolish these majestic houses and create a concrete jungle.

a depressing feature of today's landscape is rapid giving way of traditional houses to modern high rises.

the problem starts with the children migrating to foreign lands and the parents are left in a big house all by themselves, who ultimately crave for their children.they are also then taken along, leaving their houses totally unattended.finally when they come down, after four to five years they find the house in such a mess that they feel, it would be better to sell it off.

with the passage of time,we will have to see the wonderful ancestoral houses only in photographs.

a practice that is disappearing is ,'saving for a rainy day'.here,in the month of april, women stock up on chillies, onions, tamarind, dried mackerels apart from salt and sausages.

first they will be dried in the scorching heat of april.
women start buying onions in bulk from the month of may itself.these onions are tied into bunches and tied to the kitchen roof as we do with vellarikkas and kumblangas.

the joy of storing food items and being ready to face the long monsoon season was something that the people of the good old days thoroughly enjoyed.

waiting eagerly for the showers,to walk along the thin varambu in between the green green padam, occasionally, spalshing water in the small chira.so,cool just like the cucumber!
when we get down at punnayoorkulam bus stop,we cross these fields, playing in water before reaching achan's house, kamalalayam.very small paral mean thullikalikkunna chirayile vellam!ethra sundram!

let's love nature.be eco friendly.when you cut one tree, please plant two trees.let's pledge ourselves.
celebrate ''THE EARTH DAY,EVERY DAY''.

it's time for me to pack my bags.i will soon be leaving for trichur to join amma on tricur pooram.nanda will be leaving for the city at the Hudson river.shankar is so excited as he is going to witness pooram after along gap of fifteen years!
even though iam a loud speaker,i don't like sound pollution!

achan used to take us to the pooram exhibition stalls.hope i may get a chance this time!i fondly remember those summer vacations,so colourful, full of excitement!

don't you have plans to visit this lovely place? enjoy the fish curry rice at the shacks in the beaches.you will love it!

it's anu signing off.........................

have a great day!

before, winding up,let me share another sms with you.

''the best cosmetic for lips is Truth, for voice prayer, for eyes pity, for hands charity, for heart love and for life friendship.''

let's be friends,ok?

sasneham,

anu

HAPPY EASTER

THE TRUE SPIRIT OF EASTER

i am so grateful to GOD for all the blessings and i join everyoneelse in this holy week's observations and celebrations.

This post is dedicated to all my catholic friends and readers.today is the holiest day of LENT period-GOOD FRIDAY.It is observed with great reverence.

and yesterday was MAUNDY THURSDAY.The priest washed the feet of the faithful symbolically recalling JESU'S washing of the feet of his disciples on Thursday.

Catholics all over the world observe GOOD FRIDAY with fasting and
praying.this is in commeration with the crucifixion and death of JESUS CHRIST.the image of the crucified JESUS will be lowered in the churches.it's so touching to observe that people cry on seeing the enactment.the bringing down of the body of JESUS starts with two priests first moving towards the altar accompanied with ladders.the priests then place the ladders onto the cross, one on either side, climb up the ladders and tie the hands of the LORD who will be lowered later.they then remove the crown of thorns from JESU'S face and then start removing the nails from the hands.the body is then lowered into a coffin like cloth structure, after which the body is taken in procession.following the body,of JESUS, in the coffin is the image of the mother of JESUS ,which sends tears flowing from the eyes of the faithful.this is a sacred tradition.

LORD teaches us,there is no greater love if we give our life for someoneelse.GOOD FRIDAY services are held at many churches starting at 3p.m.priests stressed on the need to make sacrifices and abstain from living a luxurious life.they also want the faithful to reflect on the need to help the needy and downtrodden and remind them about the sufferings CHRIST had to undergo to save mankind.

GOOD FRIDAY commemorates the crucifixion of JESUS CHRIST in JERUSALEM more than two thousand years back.

today i HOLY SATURDAY.christians believe in the creation of new sky and new earth.holy water is sprinkled on all the things.

shri shri ravi shankar reminds me of JESUS.his personality, calm looks, long beard nad hair always makes me think of JESUS.

today is saturday.the special day of my life-my birthday.thanks to all my near and dear ones for making it the really special-chothi star of meena masam.iam really touched by the phone calls right from five a.m [nanda n amma woke me up] till now and for all the e-greetings.

as the holidays continue, iam so happy.and just hours to pass.it's the GRAND DAY COMING UP-EASTER!! EASTER signifies the resurrection of CHRIST after his crucifixion and painful death and thus signifies new life.similarly eggs, which are associated with EASTER ,signify a new life.easter eggs are in galore.let's taste the amazing EASTER eggs.

EASTER day is always on a sunday.EASTER got its name from the GODDESS of Spring called,ESTORE .

i feel like joining the midnight mass.it gives us the spiritual feeling.tonight want to kneel down in the church and beg JESUS to pardon me for all the sins.as i am a convent product, iused to pray in the church daily.we have a church in the school compound.it was always my dream to kneel down and do the confession to the priest.

in chandra prabha, amma has kept the photo of JESUS along with HINDU GODS.can you believe friends,on the eve of CHRISTMAS,when the clock strikes twelve, amma gets up and prays to JESUS.and once, amma was fast asleep and we decided not to wake her up.she was so sad for missing the midnight prayer.

we always believe in communal harmony.my little star used to go to the church in blor'e often when she was doing her project.and here,in this state of numerous churches,we used to go to bambolim church, with maza andlittle star.the cross outside is always full of marigold garlands.passers by stop and pray for two minutes.

my neighbour, rose mary auntie is not here for this EASTER.she has left for states to be with her daughter.she is a fisherfolk woman and we can't talk as i haven't learnt the local language. yet i could borrow her caged parrot for my little star's dance.that was a wonderful folk dance my little star performed for her school annual day.communication doesn't need language.all the children had gathered around the parrot.

i miss the special palappam prepared by achamma as she is in thiruvalla now.achamma makes palappam with mutton stew.she doesn't buy the easter eggs;but boils eggs.i won't be going to loretta's home.i will greet her on phone.special wishes to joy kurian n fly at kottayam,justin,sr.modesta,sr.jancina,loretta and all other readers.a festive meal awaits tomorrow.

some easter delicacies are,easter eggs,chocolate caketc;

as you all know,EASTER is the time to celebrate new beginnings.let's forgive all those who have grudge against us.we will renew our ties.............

dear all,
enjoy EASTER in true spirits.it's not just a commercial holiday.iam sure all of you will follow the traditions of EASTER and it's a family get together.

The EASTER BUNNY is a mythical character depicted as an anthropomorphic rabbit.in legend, the rabbit brings baskets filled with coloured eggs, candy and toys to the homes of children on the night before EASTER.the EASTER BUNNY will either put the baskets in a desinated place or hide them somewhere in the house for the children to find when they wake up in the morning.

EASTER is a time for hope, renewal of spirit, rekindling of faith, rejoicing of in the triumph of the LORD.Easter fills us with hope, joy and warmth.on this holy occasion, let's reach out to all our friends, family members, the less fortunate.

i am learning to accept those who are different from me and those who do things differently from me.hope enables us to accept the incompleteness in our lives without despiration.

as usual,we have the traditional EASTER DINE N DANCE at woodbourne country club, nuvem.here, people never miss a chance to shake their legs to the tunes of loud music.

i love you all.

MAY LORD SHOWER HIS CHOICEST BLESSINGS ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!IT'S A BLESSED EASTER!

it's anu signing off,

once again, wishing one and all,A GRAND, HAPPY AND HOLY EASTER!!

let me take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks who all have touched my life.

sasneham,

AAM,AAM AADMI SE DOOR....................

THE KING OF FRUITS

A great morning, started listening to LALITHA SAHASRA NAMAM,chatting with a sincere friend and reading my daily good morning greetings.living in chennai, someone finds time to send the beautiful lines early morning and really, they cheer me up!

two weeks before shankar brought the mangoes from home.i was waiting for that.by the time i reach chandra prabha, the season will be over.yesterday nanda had been to home and she was telling, the numerous mango trees are ladened with fruits.she plucked a few moovandan mangoes.amma used to prepare ''gosai manga''-a sort of pickle with this variety.oh!my! you must taste this.you will lick your fingers!

my parents have planted many mango trees.my childhood memories linger around these.near mundiyan thara-the small pambin kavu-we had kolan mago tree, sarkarachi mango and the prathaman mango tree.

in summer, just one breeze, hundreds of kolan mangoes fall to the ground.we cousins cllected the mangoes ealry in the morning, later elders, squeezed the juice on a mat and got it dried.it was kept for the rainy season.we called it manga paya or manga thira.it was dried in the hot sun for many days.later we cut it and kept in the bharanis.

from the village ,groups of children used to come and wait under the tree to collect the mangoes!they used to pray for wind.the tree was tall and noone could even think of getting to it.even the naughty boys could not throw stones!

how can i forget the delicious sarkarachi manga?it's small n round in shape.it just melts in the mouth.

the prathaman mango tree was huge and we used to sit on the trunk and study.it has a special taste.
and we had thenga manga.what a strange name!this variety is of big in size and may be due to this,it got the name.we used to tie our swing on the branch of this mango tree.

then we had a vellari mango tree.the mango was long in shape and it might have been named after the shape.even after so many years,my taste buds can experience all the different tastes these mangoes could offer!

all these mango trees were cut;but my parents had planted many more.but alas,we never could get the saplings of these variety.none of the saplings of these variety grew well.

achan always made the workers make the long bamboo sticks with hooks of small bamboo pieces and those were used to pluck the mangoes.my younger brother is an expert in this.

valiyamma n amma keep the mango slices in the hot sun to get them dried up.my little star n mazaused to take a few pieces from the plate and relish them secretly.

even now,i have last year's dried mangoes in the fridge.my mouth is watering now. i use it rarely so that i can manage till may.
amma sent the mango pickle with the finely chopped mangoes.one can have double the amount of rice with just curds and this mango pickle.

we have a huge cheena bharani at chandra prabha in which since years, uppu manga is kept.that is always there, through out the year!when the mango season gets over,we have it with rice .little bit of chili powder and uppu manga mixed with coconut oil to have with rice!when someone was sick, this uppumanga was served with hot kanji.wow!

the guests were offered with ripe mango slices and a steel glass full of sambharam.

the blooming of mango trees, the intoxicating smell of the flowers take us to another world!i simply love that![mamppokkal manassinu tharunna tharalitha bhavam....................]

in summer vacations, when we reached, kamalalayam, achan's house, different types of mangoes were kept for us.never in my life i could taste those special mangoes again.

the mango trees are short with many branches.we could easily climb the trees and pluck the mangoes.sitting on the branches,we enjoyed those mangoes!nothing can replace those beautiful moments of childhood.

there was a popular film song-''mangakalil vechu malgoayanu nee....................''
then i knew, this kind could be the best one!

after marriage, when i came to this beautiful state, little did i know, hundreds of the quality mangoes wait for me!shankar's house is in an estate full of mango trees, and jackfruit trees.i got very good ottu mangoes[the grafted ones] from his house.the summer is so cool there, but we hardly get time to enjoy the stay.
neelan, priyor are very good varieties.

nothing can replace the fresh mango juice!just one glass to refresh yourself!lovely!

i like to have the whole mango ,biting with my teeth, licking the overflowing juice from my hand with my tongue, squeezing the seed till it gets dry!

Mankurad, monserrate,Xavier,Alphonso,Timot,Sacrin,Fernand,Colace,Pairy and many more!but presently only two varieties of local mangoes are available in the market-Mankurad and Pairy.since past several days,Ratnagiri Alphonso is being sold on a large scale, but the prices remain static till date.

Mankurad and Pairy are beyond the reach of the common man.an average man can't afford to think of enjoying them at the present rate.the continuous falling of dew for the past several weeks destroyed the bloom.here, the mango season is yet to pick up.

some mangoes in the market are sold for sixty rupees and fifty rupees each while the big size are sold for hundred rupees each and two hundred rupees for three.Ratnagiri Alphonso are sold for four hundred rupees a dozen and Mankurad for nine hundred rupees a dozen.

Mankurant mangoes are in demand in the market due to their delicious taste but it is not affordable for common man.

when the forests and agricultural lands are being turned into concrete jungles, please in this monsoon, plant a few mango saplings in your compound.you are giving shelter to a large number of birds and the delicious fruits worth the hard work of planting the saplings.our kind gestures make a lot of difference to the forthcoming generation.

the vellarikka and manga kootan is one of my favourites.mangaparikku is the best.we take a little of coconut, mango pieces, green chillies, salt and mustard seeds.just grind it with curds and add curry leaves and coconut oil.give a try!

and i don't have to tell you about pazhutha mampazha kootan..............and with curds,u don't need anything else to have a large amount of rice.

now updating about the events of the day.....................

today is AAYILYAM.we have special pooja for the NAGAS at SHREE AYYAPPA TEMPLE.

today is PALM SUNDAY-kuruthola perunnal.in my village, all my christiam neighbours will be participating in the religious procession holding the palm fronds.they will be singing ..........''oshana,oshana...........''
we sing that old song,''kuruthola perunnalinu palliyil pokanam.........''this is the last week of LENT.it's the holy week for christians.it culminates with EASTER.PALM SUNDAY will be followed by MAUNDY THURSDAY and GOOD FRIDAY!JESUS teaches us,''suffering is not the end, there is also joy.''

i feel relieved after writing this post.before the season gets over, pack your bags and land here,in this beautiful land of yummy mangoes.the hills, the beaches, the greens and the springs await you.don't wait for the eleventh hour...........and yes, while shopping don't forget to buy a few Mankurand mangoes and to take them to your dear ones.

i love all of you!

it's anu signing off..................

enjoy and relax today........

FAITH AND BEING FAITHFUL....................

UNWINDING MY MEMORIES........................

month of april is full of happenings.............SRI RAMA NAVAMI, PAIKUNI UTHRAM[LORD AYYAPPA'S BIRTHDAY],HANUMAN JAYANTI,EASTER,VISHU...................and my birthday also falls in the second week .like a small child iam excited.it's not a big deal.but, a birthday is a birthday,na?may be due to my star[chothi],from childhood,i demand gifts!''chothi chothichu vangum.''

birthdays are the best and memorable being with our parents!it's more sacred!i want my birthday that way-less of celebrations and more of religious function!

often we feel low, depressed without a sound reason.looking at the sinking sun,my eyes are wet.i don't know, why.the loneliness,i enjoy!we all need space for ourselves!noone will claim ,the life is easy.but i'm sure,we can bounce back!the cause of distress is not permanent.let's keep on trying.we are forced to live with the losses in our lives.

for many days,i may not allow a tear drop to fall from my eyes, but these days at night i clutch my pillow and cry my heart out!

normally,i am a workaholic.i carry work home or i spend extra time in the office,i do my job with dedication just for my satisfaction!that way i make myself feel happy.praise is a basic human need.without this none of us give of our best.so,i give a pat on my back n tell myself,'' anu,you have done a wonderful job.keep it up.''

this scorching summer gets into my nerves!i need a break.next week many holidays are coming up.i just want to visit the tourist destination ,thambdi surla,a wonderful temple amongst the forset near a stream.my little star always used to describe this temple as a''must see''.i;m sure,it will be an experience that i'll cherish for a life time.

i am so grateful to my little star, maza n kishen for teaching me the first lessons of computer.now,i realise how patient they were!thus began my adventure in the world of computers.only in the computer class children became the gurus.i was eager to get started.when i learned something on my own,i was thrilled!my computer is no more a show piece.

then we had computer classes which were compulsory.slowly, but surely, i caught on.iam happy, nanda has taught amma the basic lessons of computer and amma checks the photos or reads my posts.great!no matter how old we are,a wiling spirit is capable of anything.

now iam happy that i can share my stories with the rest of the world.living in the present, iam going down the memory lane.i learn from the past and plan for the future.i hope, peace prevails.i can see the star that lights my way!we can't get what we want,so just balance between what you plan to get and what you just get.we are someone to be proud of!

looking at my speed in typing, now friends wonder, whether i have learned typing before!someone fondly calls me''the fastest finger!''

life is full of twists n turns.now i have started liking people just the way they are.thanks to you dear,i am no more stubborn that they should change their ways according to my wishes.now i have started appreciating the marvellous variety of human heart.

friends, let's make a lifelong habit of being more active. a few words of praise,an arm around the shoulder,a hug make a lot of difference.these are the words of affirmation and encouragement.be faithful to yourself n to others.i hope,we can enjoy the beauty of a day well lived!

the out of shape stranger stares at me in the mirror.but,i will not feel low.sitting around doing nothing will not be of any help.a small workout has to be planned.a leisurely stroll is of no use.i miss my tank in tharavadu,i miss my regular swimming.but tread mill is very good to burn a few calories.[i'm sure kishen will be very happy-i am enlightened atlast!]

HAPPY SRIRAMA NAVAMI TO ALL!let's have strong faith in GOD i'm sure ,prayers work wonders.only through prayers,we can rediscover our realm of tranquiliy.

i want to end this post on a happy note!iam your friend, sharing my thoughts with you......trust me.

and to you,

Har taraf samundar hai, kinara kyon nahim milta,

Woh kaham hai,koi mujhe bataao.........................

waiting for a shower,

it's anu signing off.....................

she did what she wanted to do.the most loving message was aired and he was shocked and shaken.
she thinks he is the tremendous zest for life.when u love someone,it's nothing.when you are loved,it's something.when the love is from both the sides, then it 's everything.
the rest of the story,u will get to know in a later post as we have to wait till monday for his reactions.she had the guts to call him ,but he pretended as if nothing happened.now it was her turn to be shocked for that ignorance.
everyone has a astory.i hope as n when i get them,it will be well told to u.would you like to send me yours?
there is someone who inspires you.follow your heart and celebrate your valentine's day..enjoy the depth and sincerity of the true feelings.giving space ,do reignite your love.and let that love is aflame that has stood the test of time.every day should be a valentine's day.it's amazing.
jayanda,i'm not going to write last year's happenings on v'day.don't get tensed up.now the love bug is busy in chennai and dubai.
yes,friends,
time to sign off.............thank you for your love and care.good night and sleep well.

a wonderful morning .could present a script on a trip in the form of dialogues.happy i was when lots of appreciation came on the way.
the hectic work and in between the luxury of chatting in free time with friend of your choice..so far,so good........then,as usual the unnecesary wanderings of mind.....the possessiveness.....the low feelings....[to add fuel to the fire, a major repair work of pipelines and not adrop of water for two days..]..
by the end of the day,oh,iam really kool.
it's really hurting that a great blogger had to delete his favourite fifteen posts because the readers are not matured.he who has put his soul and heart to the writings took such adecision to delete the posts as someonelse was hurt.
this is real cruelty.the time taken and the feelings experienced to write those posts, noone will ever know.anyways, noone has the right to be so rude with a writer.felt real bad after reading ,the new post of manu.
happy birthday ,aparna......be a great writer and doctor.good luck.
can i start all over again?let's see.the disturbed feelings should subside........
ok.guys, time to log off.the problem is right on the top of my pc, the wall clock often frightens me.[how can i complain i run out of time?]all the office work in pending and if i don't finish, the weekend will be a loss.
thanks for the call from SFO.i will sleep well.
