Today we as a nation remember those who have sacrificed their lives for the greater good of the people of the United States of America. We honor those who fought and died valiantly so that we might live freely. Even though I do not believe in the idea of war, I accept the reality of its existence and I fully support our troops. I am deeply grateful for their sacrifices.

I pray each and every day to live in a world where the continuation of any and all kinds of armed conflict has become impossible.

Happy Memorial Day to my American readers! A heartfelt and sincere thank you to all of the brave men and women who fought (and many of whom died) for our freedom. My greatest dream is that one day, the human race will look back at the brutality, futility and absurdity of war and wonder how we ever participated in such madness.
