Dear Friends,
       Good Evening!
It's a beautiful evening!From the interior of my flat I can watch my deep blue sea,the boats and the ships through the glass doors and windows.Bedroom also faces sea.I just put off the lights and admire the illuminated ships anchored,the reflections of the colourful lights in the water.It's simply amazing...Night turns to be so soothing and heart gets filled with love.Listening to the soft music,looking at the star studded sky,I fall asleep.How lucky I am!
New religious month Makaram starts on 15th January.The Annual Festival of Shree Ayyappa Temple begins from 14th,January.Before I turn to the religious week,let me write a post on the sweet nothings and the beautiful feelings!:)

When does someone fall in love?

When the eyes twinkle like stars at the very sight of him/her,
You love looking at her/his eyes to see the love glow!
When your heart beats faster when you see him/her;
When you carry a smile to the bed that is left for you,
When you think of him/her waking up in the morning.
When pitter patter raindrops fall on the tiled roof,
Arousing the soft and romantic feelingsin one's heart.
When one enjoys the smell of the fresh mud,
After the first showers of the season.
When the fragrance of jasmines spread in the garden,

When someone gives you the sense of security,love and comfort,
When you start missing someone in his/her absence;
When the loving voice sends you shivers in the spine.

And when you feel sad the moment the call ends.

When there is mutual understanding and bond,

When he/she is honest with you...

Your realise that your happiness is really important for him/her;

When you feel lot of tenderness than to anyonelese..

When you start humming a tune always...
When you prefer night to daylight....

When one feels miserable in one's absence.

When one put other's needs before one's own,

Even when the whole world is falling apart,

All you need is to hear his/her voice,

To make sure everything is okey with him/her.

When someone respects one's ways

And starts accepting our flaws.
When the days become longer and nights shorter..
When the whole world turns out to be so beautiful....
When you take extra time to be infront of the mirror,
When you secretely long for the passionate touch,
And become eager to hear the sweet nothings.

Love and to be loved is in everyone's life!

And if one awaits,the right person will reach you!
When you feel you are in love,

You must express it at the earliest!

Dear friends,

       Good Evening!Rain is not yet in full swing in Thrissur!I get time to enjoy the showers as I am relaxing here with Amma.School reopened and I see children going to school in the morning.They are so excited wearing new uniforms and carrying new school bags.They have new umbrellas and are in full spirits!Children love splashing water and walking on the streets.

I have written many posts on rains;but still feelings are fresh when the cool drops of rain fall  from the sky!The gentle calm drizzles take me into a different world with my thoughts!And I hang a board there''tresspassers will be prosecuted''.The sounds and scenes of rains  are very inspirational to me.I believe,''Into each life some rain must fall''.

Rain,the drops of water from the clouds!

The cool,clean,pure and crystal drops,

They bring a lot of hope and freshness,

Down the tree trunks and off to the leaves;

Into the ground,ponds and rivers.
Not just to the nature,but to all of us!
How beautiful is the rain!

It is like my best friend,sharing my life with me.

I see the raindrops falling on the leaves,

Making the grass wet and shiver!

My friend told me try to catch the drops in mouth!
That is a wonderful experience,it seems!
Last summer I was plucking flowers in rain,
And I had high temperature for many days.

The drops  sparkle in the moonlight,

My heart dances and feel the freshness,
And the feelings are awake once again!

While it rains,I leave the window open,

The fresh cool air fills my room!

I love to look out through the window,

And enjoy each and every moment.
I want to walk in the rain,
Pouring out my feelings and tears,

Alone in the darkness when  noone sees,

Then feeling all the cool drops on my face;
Like the sweet soft and wet kisses!
At times,jumping into the puddles on the road,

I do feel very relaxed,cool,calm and collected.

The fragrance of the air and the wet sand,
Maddening I must admit!

Splashing water,I walk the long distance,

Talking to myself and forgetting the world!

A simple downpour is very relaxing;
The sound of raindrops hitting the ground,

Falling on the roofs with a rhythm,

Like a lullaby they put me into sleep.
While it is raining,I love to read,
A romantic fiction that suits the mood,

While plucking the flowers in the garden,

The teardrops fell on the red rose,
That I held close to my chest.

The footprints of rain after the night long dance,

Are visble on leaves and flowers!

I have seen people playing in the rain,

Enjoying football much more interesting.

The rain drops give me a tranquil feeling,

I can only experience the beautiful calmness;
But I get scared of thunderstorms and lightning.

While raining I enjoy my solitude more,

It cools me off taking away my stress.

I feel like forgiving my friends,

Who have hurt my feelings and left deep wounds.

Everything seems much more alive,

When the magical water drops start falling.

While it is raining I miss you more;

Enjoying the drips and drops of water,

Singing''Pitter-patter'',''pitter-patter''

Watching them sail in the air!

Rain drops join with one another,
Rushing to the ocean  shore,

I realise my dear,like the seasonal rain,

The love of life is silent and gentle!
I live in a place where we dance to the rhythm of rains,
Be with me just for one more time,

To take the slow romantic steps holding my hands

And looking deep into my eyes!

I hope we get enough rain so that there won't be water shortage and power cut.Planting more and more saplings and harvesting rain water are in everyone's thoughts.You know what,Nandini the elephant watered the saplings in Punnathur Kotta after they were planted!Really cute,the photo looks in the news paper.

We celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th.Last year,I had written a post on the same event-Happy Women's Day.That was too personal.
It is a major day of global celebration for the economic,political and social achievements of women.
When I write about women's day,I think of my Amma,My Little Star,Nanda, Maza and now Little Minooty who have influenced me the most!
I'm writing this post one day early to make the male friends think and plan about the celebration of the important day.;)I don't want any woman left neglected on this important day.

LIFE TOGETHER

A TOUCHING LOVE STORY!

Dear Friends,
Good Morning!
After the showers,the atmosphere is really cool.Thanks for your support and goodwill for sharing your views in the form of comments on the last posts.
In this hectic life where we run around blaming,there is no time for anything and to reach our own dear and near ones,I felt the urge to share this forwarded mail with you.by the end of the last line,my cheeks were wet and heart was melt.may I hope the same with you?take time,my dear friends as I don't want you to miss out a single word!




One fine day, an old couple around the age of 70, walks into a lawyer's office.
Apparently, they are there to file a divorce.

Lawyer was very puzzled, after having a chat with them, he got their
story....This couple had been quarreling all their 40 over yrs of marriage
nothing ever seems to go right.

They hang on because of their children, afraid that it might affect their
up-bringing. Now, all their children have already grown up, have their own
family, there's nothing else the old couple have to worry about, all they
wanted is to lead their own life free from all these years of unhappiness from
their marriage, so both agree on a divorce....Lawyer was having a hard time trying to get the papers done, because he felt
after 40 yrs that of marriage at the age of 70, he couldn't understand why the old couple would still want a divorce.. While they were signing the papers, the wife told the husband..
"ner together, just 3 of them,wife thought, why not, since
they are still gonna be friends..

At the dining table, there was a silence of awkwardness.

The first dish was roasted chicken, immediately, the old man took the drumstick
for the old lady.."take this, its your favorite.."

Looking at this, the lawyer thought maybe there is still a chance, but the wife
was frowning whenhis is always the problem, you always think so highly of yourself, never
thought about how I feel, don't you know that i hate drumsticks?"

Little did she know that, over the years, the husband have been trying all ways
to please her, little did she know that drumsticks was the husband's favorite.
Little did he know that she never thought he understand her at all, little did
he know that she hates drumsticks even though all he wants is the best for her.

That night, both of them couldn't sleep, toss and turn, toss and turn...after
hours, the old man couldn't take it anymore, he knows that he still loves her,
and he cant carry on life without her, he wants her back, he wants to tell her,
he is sorry, he wanted to tell her "i love you"...
He picks up the phone, starting dialing her number....ringing never stops..he
never stop dialing....

On the other side, she was sad, she couldn’t understand how come after all
these years, he still doesn't understand her at all, she loves him a lot, but
she just cant take it anymore....phone' s ringing, she refuses to answer
knowing that its him..."whats the point of talking now that its over...i
have ask for it and now i wanna keep it this way, if not i will lose
face.."she thought...still ringing...she have decided to pull out the
cord...

Little did she remember, he have heart problems... The next day, she received news that he had passed away...she rushed down to his apartment, saw his body, lying on the couch still holding on to the phone...he had a heart attack when he was still trying to get through her phone line.... As sad as she could be...she will have to clear his belongings.. .when she was looking through the drawers, she saw this insurance policy, dated from the day they got married, with the beneficiary being her... And together in those file, there was this note... "To my dearest wife, by the time you're reading this, I'm sure I'm no longer around, I bought this policy for you, though the amount is only $100k, I hope it will be able to help me continue my promise that i have made when we got married, I might not be around anymore, I want this amount of money to continue taking care of you, just like the way I will if I could have live longer. I want you to know I will always be around, by your side... " I LOVE YOU SWEET HEART" Tears flowed like river......

i was amazed to know how much people need to relive in the romantic moments.but that is the spice of life,na?

we don't know who will make our day?today i was surprised to know the peon in our office wants me to sign in all circulars first.hey,she considers my signature auspicious.:)cool!God is really great n kind n inspiring me to inspire others.

i receive morning mails n calls daily and i just want to share this forwarded mail with you.friends,if you have a woman in your life ,oh,yes,Mother dear is there-please try to love her wholeheartedly n respect her,all the women in your life!the going will be good.it's your time to give not to take.:)agreed?

and marriages are in full swing.to all those who care for your women and who forgot to do the same,please read this post.

Tomorrow you may get a working woman, but you should marry her with these facts as well.

Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are;
Who is earning almost as much as you do;
One, who has dreams and aspirations just as
you have;
One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life
just like you or your Sister haven't,
One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her,
to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family name.

One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day, while

you sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances, environment and that kitchen.
One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more, and yet never ever expected to complain;
to be a servant, a cook, a mother, a wife, even if she doesn't want to;
and is learning just like you are
as to what you want from her;
and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that you won't like it
if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you;
One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even men at her workplace too, hose, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy, unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;

Yes, she can drink and dance just as well as you can,
One, who just wants one thing from you,
as you are the only one she knows in your entire house -
your unstinted support, your sensitivities and most importantly - your understanding, or love, if you may call it.

But not many guys understand this...... ?

Good morning!today is the luxurious holiday,being a second saturday.morning is cool,enjoying the sea breeze,and sipping the morning cup of tea looking at the horizon.i had plans to write posts on other topics but the power failure for long hours changed my plans.so,i decided to share the forwarded mails from my friends with you.
today is WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY.can i contribute in a simple way?the term common mental disorders [CMDS]refers to states of anxiety and depression.poverty is widespread in India and depression is mostly linked to stress.the poor have ongoing stress and also have less coping mechanisms.lack of knowledge,ignorance and lack of funds can contribute to the mental disorder worsening due to untimely intervention.depression is said to be more common among women.men have many more ways of coping with anxiety by taking to drinking,drugs or smoking.socialising also helps.poor women remain at home and don't interact with others.then they develop aches n pains.let us lead a happy n peaceful life.''live n let live ''.all of us know that a sound mind will be available only in a sound body.
right from an early age i loved counselling and the interest was deep rooted when i joined for my professional course.i always love reaching out to people in distress n depression,like cheering them up n making them laugh,convincing this is not the end of the road,we have to continue our long journey falling n getting up,sharing their pains and making them feel i am with them.

Finding friends in this big and complicate dworld is truly a magical thing.but for me finding u is not only magic but also a blessing.:)i hope you are listening carefully.

Today is Medical Ball in Taleigao.it started out as an occasion for the medical fraternity to get together;but today their doors have been opened to the community at large.organisers say that the proceeds of the ball will go towards Asro,the HIV children's home in Cavelossim.step in to your dancing shoes and dress your best.what better place then to unwind and enjoy the weekend in the company of friends,good music n sunday?

Dear Friends,
Good evening!i feel like talking to all of you,but words refuse to come out of the heart!after a short break,i joined duty today.October is such a month with less working days,but don't ask me about the work load!but today morning when the sun was bright,iwas enjoying the yellow flowers n black butterflies with white designs n honeybees sucking honey!:)we have lovely gardens in our office campus with bright n beautiful flowers n small cute birds!when the work is more,i get refreshed having a look at this wonderful sight.today for a change, let me share a beautiful forwarded mail with you.i'm sure you will like it a lot! thanks a lot friend,for this wonderful mail-food for thought.
