FOR A CHANGE!

Dear Friends,

these lovely snaps are sent by nanda and maza from Montreal.they had an adventurous trip recently to the hills,rocky areas and the beautiful landscape of Montreal.the fountain is infront of PRLIAMENT HOUSE,QUBEC CITY,MONTREAL.and the beautiful water falls is Ausible Chasm.

those who have read my earlier posts know that water is my weakness and often i land up writing about rains,ancestoral kulam,river etc.you know,water is one of the most basic needs of aliving being on earth.

i live in a state gifted with natural beauty,rivers and seas.but,once in a month the pipe breaks religiouly and the whole life turns upside down!and don't expect the pipes will be repaired before four days!when everyone can manage with one bucket of water,anu needs minimum three buckets!

everything falls on deaf years and anu sings the rhyme....''water water everywhere,but not a drop to drink''.

now things are different.this is GOD'S own country and i'm at trichur now.no problems.i can use water lavishly to my satisfaction.the first thingi do,in my home is keep the tap opened and admire the gushing water!and monsoon starts from tomorrow,great!i will be busy reading articles on how to harvest rain water,how to utilise the rain for the trees by digging pits.i love sitting out getting wet,enjoy the shivering leaves and the drooping flowers!go for a walk in the rain!celebrate this gift from GOD!

when i received the snaps,i thought of sharing them with you!the natural and man made sources of water.

on the high flood of my memory,

let me search for a path in the woods,

where i walked among the dried grass

looking for some water to quench my thirst,

i heard the footsteps of unknown traveller,

he had a bowl of water with him.

he gave me the colours and dreams ,

by his magical touch,

shall i pay my debt,just tell me,

as you are coming back!
