A community is created when people join together with a common goal or purpose. There is a commonality or communality that binds us all beyond belief; beyond personality; and beyond the perceived boundaries that exist between ourselves and everything else in the entire universe.
The age-old battle – one that has divided the psyche of humankind for a very long time – is the spiritual vs. the material… often described as ‘the light vs. the dark’. If you prefer, you could describe this conflict as one between the left and right hemispheres of the brain – the left representing order and logic; and the right, creativity and intuition. If we develop one without the other, it’s likely that we will become either uninformed yet ‘very spiritual’ individuals or highly knowledgeable individuals who deny their spiritual selves…
No one individual knows ‘the whole truth and nothing but the truth’ because we collectively hold pieces of the puzzle. With diversity there is balance. That’s what the ARC is all about.
The first ARC Convention took place in Bath, England, on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st February 2010. The second ARC Convention is on August 28th-29th at the same venue (http://www.arcconvention.org/ARC2.html). These gatherings are inspired by the book, entitled: The Dangerous Man: Conversations with Free-Thinkers and Truth-Seekers – A Collection of Alternative Research.
