I wanted to pop in today and give you all an update. I went yesterday to see the pulmonary specialist. I am now on an additional 6 more medications. (Just what I needed right?) He has told me my asthma is extremely bad right now. I am breathing very shallow, having trouble expanding my breaths into the lower part of my lungs. I was told yesterday I am considered a seal, as I bark when I cough. (I can't wait when I go back in 2 weeks to see what animal I am.) I am not allowed outside except for Dr. appointments, the lab and another chest x-ray that he ordered and an occasional trip to the grocery store. (I have so missed my Michael's shopping, actually any shopping for that matter) WAAAAAA!!
I am still laboring to breathe. (The Dr. feels I need more time.) I will continue with my breathing treatments and my new medications. I am sleeping about 2 hours every night, and then move to my chair, as I breathe better sitting up. I rest off and on during the day in my chair. I have never had others wait on me, I have always been the strong one, so this is very hard for me. When I move around a lot or talk, I start coughing. Can you imagine Country Wings being quiet? Believe me it is HARD!!!
I have visited a few blogs and left a few comments. I am slowly trying to visit you all my friends. I figure a few a day, as I can type, just can't talk. I cannot begin to tell you what the cards, gifts of love and emails have meant to me. I thank each of you angels from the very bottom of my heart. I have missed blogging so much.
