It's Raining Here In Phoenix

Life Isn't About Waiting For the Storm to Pass.

It's About Learning To Dance in the Rain.

Sitting in the gazebo watching the roses as they smile, while soaking up the much needed water that they have so thirsted for. The rain is cool and wet and steadily falling upon the beautiful smiles open to drink for the much needed nourishment for life.

The rose had been dropped by the mysterious stranger scurrying along to their car. Lying in the water puddle, the rain pelting down on its velvet petals, the rose found itself wondering if anyone would come by and scoop it up. It so wanted to be loved and admired as it once was in the flower shop. Would a car speeding down the road put an end to the beautiful petals?

The rain had started to pour in sheets. All of the strollers, joggers and walkers had hurried to their cars, leaving behind the beauty of the day. Meanwhile the flowers, trees and shrubs were rejoicing amongst themselves, calling out to the rain and thanking God to be receiving the gift of life, a much needed drink that was long overdue.

The daisy petals felt the moisture from the rain falling in colored drops that were only imaginable to the daisy itself. She saw colors when the rain softly wet her petals. She became a beauty that only she saw from within. She became the rose that she so desired to be, but alas she knew she was only a daisy: "He loves me, he loves me not."

As always, thank you for stopping by my little piece of heaven, here in the desert, that I so love to call home. Country hugs and much love,
