Amy's Getting A Peg Tube Monday - Praise God

Amy Taking A Piggyback ride on Her Daddy's Back

Praise God! Amy is getting a peg tube. Monday Amy is going to surgery we won't know until later, what time, but they are going to insert a peg tube and start feeding her hyperal. The surgery itself will only take about 45 minutes.

Now what we need to pray about: Her heart is very weak from not being fed, and we know there could be some problems intibating her because of the placement and size of the cancerous tumor in her neck, so Debbie said to pray for the following:

For Amy's oxygen level to stay oxygenated when she is being moved, and for her pulse rate to stabilize. It still continues to rise when she coughs or is nauseauted. They are still drawing blood daily checking her potassium levels as they continue to be very low.

Thank you all Sister Bloggers for your continued support, your prayers and your constant faith. Without it we could never have transitioned through this so gracefully. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

As always thank you for stopping by my little piece of heaven, here in the desert, that I so love to call home. I love you all. Sherry
