It is With Great Saddness That I Write This Post

It is with great saddness that I write this post. Debbie just called me. They have taken Amy to recovery. There is nothing more than can do for her. The cancer has spread from her tongue to her jaw and into her spine. She will be in recovery for awhile, and then be moved to a room where they are going to start controlling the pain she has been having. From there she will be in the hospital for 3 or 4 days. Then they will be bringing her home. Chemo may help with some of the pain, but if she receives the chemo, then Hospice will not get involved. Either way here, we lose. Please continue to pray for Amy and for Debbie and Richard, their hearts are aching. This is not what we expected, and we are all so devastated. The Dr's said that the scan was very deceiving as to what they we able to see. They were not expecting this either. We love you all, Sherry
